Lesson Aim:

To tell the children about Solomon as King and to emphasise that God’s promise to David came true in Solomon building God’s temple. To show the children that God keeps his promises, no matter the time, and so we can trust Jesus is coming back.

Main Message:

King Solomon built the temple just as God promised to David.

MEMORY VERSE:

**NEW** For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:25
