To help the children learn some precious truths that are in Proverbs about speech—what we say and how we say it. These are wise words written by King Solomon.

Main Message:

God wants us to say friendly words, say kind words, be careful what we say and be honest.

Creative

  • Chameleon with Moving Tongue: Create this chameleon and write some kind words on its tongue. When you blow on it, kind words will come rolling out of its mouth.  Chameleon at Paper Magic on YouTube

Physical/Tactile

  • Yum! Honey!: Get in the kitchen and do some baking with honey. You could make honey jumbles, honey joys or honeycomb. As you eat your delicious treat remember Proverbs 16:24 “Kind words are like honey. They are sweet to the spirit and bring healing to the body”.
