Support and send Phil and Lauren
With AIM on Home Assignment, destination Kenya
We’re thrilled to see Lauren and Phil be sent out from our church and from their home for the sake of the gospel in Africa.
They’ve prepared well — Phil as a missionary pilot and Lauren to share with women and children who have never heard the good news.
This kind of thing doesn’t happen every day at HBC, so we want to make it a special occasion where we set them apart for the task God has given for them to do. We’ll gather as their church family, pray for them, and send them off in joyful partnership with us, other churches and Africa Inland Mission.

“Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.”
