Quality time with your church family

It has been great kicking off GS pm together!

We are so excited to meet new people and build relationships together.

This year we’re having a GS pm Weekend In. It will be a fantastic time to deepen our love for each other and for Jesus, who brings us together.

Here’s what we’ve got in store…

Friday Night

Come from 5:30pm for a relaxed dinner as a whole church family. Hang around firepits, chat, watch a movie with the kids, and play some board games.

Saturday

A morning full of Bible, singing, and prayer to deepen our connection with God, and each other. There will be a full kids program alongside the morning, something for the whole family.

After lunch, there will be plenty of free time to hang out together or to get the kids some rest if they need. Followed by afternoon tea and getting ready for the first inaugural GS pm Talent Show! Dust off the instruments, create the skits, it’s your time to shine!

We'll wrap up with a relaxed early dinner and hangs to celebrate the fun that has been had.

Sunday

Finish the weekend off with church together at 4pm.

Come and spend extended time with your GS pm church family.

You won't want to miss out on this weekend of fun and fellowship.

FAQs

  • This year at GS pm Weekend In we’ll be digging into the bible to see what God has to say about family. What does God want for families? And how does our eternity impact on how we live our lives and interact with each other as we await Jesus' return?

  • Bring them to dinner! Then they can head into youth at 7pm. While they’re at youth, you can continue hanging out with your church family on site, and pick your youth up at 9pm.

  • There will be quiet places to rest on Saturday afternoon, and we might even put a kids movie on.

  • We’d love you to come for the whole time! We reckon this is the best way to get the most out of the weekend – quantity and quality time together. But there are options on the rego form for those who can’t be there for both Friday night and Saturday.

  • There’ll be a full kids program for the entire morning - bible talks, craft, games, and fun. It will cover Creche to year 5, just like Sunday kids church. Morning tea will be provided for U5s and K-5.

  • On Saturday, bring your Bibles, any free-time activities you might want to share eg board games, craft, cricket bat, or anything you might need for free-time like a hat.

  • Food will be provided for both Friday and Saturday, including for dietary requirements (if you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch). If you have a little one that you want to bring food for, there is an option to select ‘no food provided’ on the rego form.

  • If you haven’t found the answer you’re looking for, please contact Jo at jhearne@hunterbiblechurch.org and we’ll be happy to help.
