UniChurch Service
UniChurch is a service of Hunter Bible Church aimed particularly at student aged people of Newcastle. We meet at the CT202 theatre on the Newcastle university campus at 7pm from February to December. If you like solid Bible teaching and encouraging fellowship then this is the place for you!
Our aim for UniChurch is to have a friendly, Bible based service suitable for both the newcomer and mature Christian alike. We want everyone to turn towards Jesus, and entrust their lives to him. Both their present lives, and their eternal life.
You’ll be invited to really listen to what God says in the Bible. You’ll be encouraged to believe his promise of free salvation through Jesus. And you’ll be challenged to live in a way that pleases God and pray about His plans and purposes for our world.
Many deep friendships are formed at UniChurch as students read the Bible together and pray, as we sing and enjoy supper. This informal meeting hopes to be welcoming and non traditional, so that as many people as possible can hear about Jesus and his gift of salvation.
