Where can children go to learn about Jesus and have lots of fun? SPROUT!

At Sprout we want to see every child grow in their knowledge and love of God. Whether they have never been to church before or have been at church their whole lives we provide activities that will challenge them to know God better.

SPROUT is part of the 10am Lambton congregation. Everyone starts in the big meeting together, then the kids head out to SPROUT with their teachers and classmates. We have different groups aimed at different ages so that everyone can have a great time learning about our great God.

6 - 24 months - Babies are looked after in our crèche, which is stocked with safe toys. Please bring along a snack for your baby to have for morning tea.

2 year olds - Our toddlers have a great time exploring truths about God through games songs and craft. Each week they bring home a story sheet detailing what they have learnt. Please provide your toddler with some snacks for morning tea.

3 year olds -The 3 year olds start to explore who God is by hearing short stories from the bible, playing lots of games, singing songs and making simple crafts. Please provide your toddler with some snacks for morning tea.

4 year olds - Children in our 4 year old group start to interact with the text of the bible, beginning with pictures and moving onto words as they discover the world of reading. They play games, sing songs and make crafts. Please provide your child with some snacks for morning tea.

Kindergarten - Children in our Kindergarten group start to interact with the text of the bible, beginning with pictures and moving onto words as they discover the world of reading. They play games, sing songs and make crafts. Light morning tea (fruit and biscuits and some water) is provided.

School years 1 and 2 – These children are challenged to think about how knowing God affects their world while they keep learning about Him through the bible. They continue to learn about God through games, songs, activities and craft. Light morning tea (fruit and biscuits and some water) is provided.

School years 3-4 and years 5-6

– Children in years three to six at school are challenged to keep thinking about Jesus and given opportunities to read the bible for themselves. The games, songs and activities they are involved in all help in teaching them more about Jesus and his goodness to them. Light morning tea (fruit and biscuits and some water) is provided.

We ask that you would pick up your kids from their class room at the end of church.
