This gathering is designed to be laid back, friendly and open to people of all ages and backgrounds.  Each week we want to encourage you to meet people and have great conversations.

What should I expect?

We want you to feel completely comfortable at Hunter Bible Church.  When you arrive, we’ll give you a handout with an outline of the service, and you are free to sit wherever you like.  You won’t be asked to introduce yourself, or read or pray out loud. If you’re a visitor, we’d love you to simply get a feel for what goes on.

What will happen in the meeting?

Our aim at Hunter Bible Church is to have solid and relevant Bible teaching set in the context of warm and engaging singing, with time to reflect and pray.

If you don’t own a Bible, don’t worry – we’ll make sure you have a Bible to look at and even take home. When you come, we’d love to know that you came, and a great way to let us know is to fill in the feedback form that came with your outline (all your details are strictly confidential, and will only be seen by the Hunter Bible Church leadership team).

The service runs for about an hour and a half all up.  After this formal part has ended, there’s supper provided so you can hang around for as long as you like. Please come and introduce yourself to one of the staff or people you saw up the front.  We’d love to meet you and welcome you to Hunter Bible Church.

Do you have stuff for the kids?

Yes. Every Sunday night we run a kids program from 4.15pm til the end of church.

It’s called Kids Church and it includes dinner, Bible teaching and fun activities for kids aged from six months to 12 years.

Our aim is to build a safe and exciting ministry that cares for our kids and helps them to know and love Jesus, giving parents the opportunity to connect and grow during our meeting.

For more information email Andrew Horsfield or check out the HBC Kids FAQ’s page.

What should I wear?

People at Hunter Bible Church are pretty relaxed and casual.  We want you to feel comfortable, so you can come in anything from your wetsuit to your dinner tux (and of course anything in between).
