Keen to show Jesus’ love to people in our community? Have a heart for teenagers? Interested in a mentoring role?

If your answer is a resounding YES then you’ll definitely be interested in becoming a mentor through RUSH!

RUSH is a mentoring program with a holistic approach to providing support services to young people who have found life difficult, and as a result are at risk of making poor life choices.

The target group for this project is young ‘at risk’ people aged between 12-16 years. These young people need positive lifestyle modelling and the development in relationships, which have normally broken down within their own families.

Mentoring through RUSH provides you with the most incredible opportunity to be a friend, a role model and Christ’s ambassador to a teenager in our community.

On Saturday 2nd April RUSH is running a one-day training session to equip people to become a mentor to a teenager in one of our local high schools.

If you are interested in coming to the training day or would like more information please email Pip Budden (pip.budden@hunterbiblechurch.org) or RSVP via our HBC Social Justice facebook event.
