Last Minute Sunday

We want to be a church that reaches out to young adults in Newcastle with the news about Jesus that saves them from hell. We want to be a church where everyone is excited about seeing new people join us, hear about Jesus, repent and entrust their lives to him.
The week before hundreds of young adults descend on the uni and unichurch… we want to get together, pray together and plan together about how we’re going to help them know their God who died for them.
So, come along and join us in seeing Jesus glorified.

Hey dave, This is awesome!! however im really having with our focus at Unichurch….are we aiming for young people or are we aiming for uni people…if young people is the case…it changes our whole perception of unichurch and if unistudents are the case then Uni students being evangelised to remains unichurch…i have had conversations with Greg and Sam and im unsure of our aim…are we unified in our aim?? Does that mean we should think about who our audience is?? should that alter the way we do church?? should we have another service that reaches that audience?? (i know 5pm is supposed to be on that line..is it??) Cheers Your Brother in Christ

Hey Munday! It seems like you’re saying you’re not sure who Unichurch is meant to be aimed at… that sounds like a good reason to come along to “Last Minute Sunday” and find out!

I’ll put up a summary during O-Week on what Greg says about what we believe God’s vision for Unichurch is, and the plans we make on the day. There will be a time for questions on the day, and I’ll put up answers to these questions too. If you can’t make it, and you have questions like these ones, post them here and we’ll try to answer these ones too on the day.
